For the first time, after 2007’s experimentations – when “6*60 – Visioni a tutto campo” had a jury made out of the same participants and “6*60 – Fast” had a Makin’GO-belonging jury – the marathon provides itself with a qualified external jury. Indeed, under the aegis of jury president Pierluigi Pintar, authoritative shorts’ picker for the Amidei Prize, the organizers have gathered four young professionals of the audiovisual sector. Two boys and two girls whom, due to their young age, different geographic provenance, heterogeneous curricula and experiences-in-progress, we like to see as reflections of the ideal “marathon runner”.
Here are some details about them.
Serena Agusto, 27 y.o., from Modena. Graduated at Dams Cinema in Bologna, last year she collaborated on the Festival del Cinema Ritrovato, while now works for the Circuito
Cinema association of Modena. Along with critic Alberto Morsiani (who’s artistic director of the association), she’s editing a monograph about director and actor Corso Salani;
Serena D'Urbano, 25 y.o., from Chieti. She’s graduated at Dams Cinema in Bologna as well, and now is still studying there for a PhD. New tv vice-responsible for the website www.nonsolocinema.com, last year she was in the jury of the NapoliFilmFestival;
Giuseppe Colella, 30 y.o., from Napoli. He’s in the group running VisioNA, the project that since last March has begun to set in a network several events taking place in Napoli and devoted to visual arts. According to this role, he’s among the organizers of Comicon (international comics’ salon), of the NapoliFilmFestival and of the newborn animation festival CartooNA;
Igor Prassel, 37 y.o., from Koper (Slovenia). Editor of Stripburger, the only comics’ magazine to be published in Slovenia, he mostly divides himself between comics and cartoons, being also the director of Animateka, Ljubljana’s international animation film festival, and collaborator of Animafest, Zagreb’s homolog event. Besides, Igor is a movie-critic and movie-lover tout-court, as testified by his presence in the org-chart of the Kino Otok – Isola Cinema film festival.
